Recipe Quiche Lorraine Jamie Oliver
Tea dinner lunch or a good nibble for a party savoury tart since i ve been a sweet and healthy treats baking maniac i thought i d post a savoury recipe that i borrowed from the brilliant jamie oliver.
Recipe quiche lorraine jamie oliver. Sprinkle bacon cheese and onion into pastry shell. Lift pastry into tin. Drain well and place into a large bowl.
Carefully pour the mixture into the pastry case. Whisk together the eggs then stir through the cheese milk leeks bacon and a good pinch of seasoning. Finely slice the bacon if using then add to a frying pan over a medium high heat and fry for 5 minutes or until golden turning occasionally.
3 roll pastry between sheets of baking paper until large enough to line a 25cm 10 inch round 3 5cm 1 inch deep loose based fluted tart tin. Step 3 in a medium bowl whisk together eggs cream salt sugar and cayenne pepper. Gently press pastry into the base and side.
Using a pre made pastry case this recipe is really easy and packed with flavour. In a bowl combine the eggs cream salt and pepper then pour into the quiche. Bake the quiche in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until the filling has set and the top is beginning to turn golden.
Add to the quiche and top with the cheese. Coarsely grate the cheese. Place the onion in the pan and cook over a medium heat for 8 minutes or until golden.
This savoury tart is. Trim finely slice and add the spring onions. Soft buttery leeks add a tasty twist to a classic quiche lorraine recipe.
