Recipe Potato Leek Soup Instant Pot
Season with a pinch of salt then cook leeks until softened 4 mins.
Recipe potato leek soup instant pot. On the instant pot hit sauté and adjust so it s on the more or high setting. Once the display reads hot melt butter in the inner pot and stir in onion celery and leek. Add butter leeks and salt and saute until tender 3 to 5 minutes.
Turn instant pot on saute mode. Add the leeks and stir. Turn on a multi functional pressure cooker such as instant pot and select saute function.
Add the butter and once melted add in the leeks and sauté for 8 10 minutes until the leeks are crispy but not burned. Cook until tender about 7 minutes stirring frequently. When the display reads hot add the oil and butter.
Add butter and leeks. Cook until soft stirring occasionally. Press saute mode on the instant pot add butter to pot.
Turn off the saute function. Saute until leeks are very soft 8 to 10 minutes. Cut the leeks white and light green parts only in half lengthwise and then cut into inch wide half moons.
Saute until softened stirring frequently and not allowing to brown 8 minutes. Add 2 tbsp 28g unsalted butter and chopped leeks in instant pot. Select the saute function on the instant pot.
