Recipe Sweet Potato Rounds
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Recipe sweet potato rounds. Scrub the sweet potatoes leave unpeeled and cut into fries or rounds. Preheat the oven to 500 f. Slice your sweet potatoes into rounds.
Peel sweet potatoes and cut into 1 2 inch thick rounds. Bake for 20 25 minutes flipping halfway through until the sweet potatoes are tender. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
Trust me rounds are much easier. Arrange the potato slices not touching in rows on a baking sheet. We topped these with spicy black beans crumbled cotija cheese and cilantro leaves.
Bake sweet potato slices for 10 minutes. Arrange rounds in a single layer on your prepared pan. Toss well to coat.
Set aside to cool. Discard the ends of the potato. Roasted sweet potato rounds make a simple healthy side dish or perfect first food for your baby.
Meanwhile make the topping. Bake in the oven for 30 mins or until golden and crisp. Lightly brush the potatoes with the oil mixture.
