Pork Picnic Roast Recipe Dutch Oven
Preheat oven to 350 degrees f.

Do not move it for a minute or so then rotate it to brown all sides. Preheat oven to 325. Flip and repeat until all sides are nice and browned.
Remove meat from oven and cover with foil. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. Peel and slice the garlic cloves.
Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a dutch oven over medium high heat. Bake for 8 10 hours more or less depending on size or until internal temperature is about 190f. Place pork roast in the heated dutch oven and brown on all sides about 4 5 minutes each.
In a dutch oven heat olive oil on stovetop. Rub the roast with salt and pepper. With a small knife pierce the top of the roast and force garlic slices into the cuts.
