Recipe For Oatmeal Raisin Cookies With Applesauce

Stir in raisins and oats.

Recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies with applesauce. Beat until smooth about 1 minute. In the bowl of an electric mixer cream the butter and both sugars together. If using an electric mixer remove the bowl.

Add the applesauce egg and vanilla and mix until blended about 2 minutes. Lightly spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray. In bowl with mixer at medium speed beat margarine with sugar until combined.

In a large bowl combine flour baking soda oats cinnamon salt and nutmeg. Add the flour to the applesauce mixture and mix well. Beat in flour mixture alternately with applesauce.

Combine flour cinnamon soda cloves nutmeg baking powder and salt. Remove the bowl from the mixer and stir in the oats and raisins. Stir in the oats and raisins.

Add nuts and spices if desired. Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. Add the applesauce mixture to the flour mixture slowly and mix thoroughly.
