Naan Recipe Self Raising Flour

Naan recipe self raising flour. Add the yogurt and process until it starts to come together. Sprinkle a little extra flour on top of the ball of dough before transferring it to the floured surface. Flatten into a circular shape and divide into 8 even portions.
Secondly i don t always have self raising flour at home but i do always have normal flour available. Mix self rising flour and greek yogurt together in a large bowl until combined. For a nice variation add garlic finely chopped coriander leaves and sultanas to the dough.
The reason i changed the recipe is that firstly the ratio was incorrect. So i guess you could use this same recipe and substitute the flour for self raising flour and omit the baking powder. Step 2 heat a non stick frypan on high heat.
Step 2 pat dough into a rough 9x7 inch rectangle. Place the flour in a large mixing bowl and add the yeast mixture for plain flour or the water for self raising flour. Lightly flour a wooden or kitchen surface.
Transfer to a lightly floured work surface and knead until smooth adding more flour as necessary to keep dough from sticking 2 to 3 minutes. Step 1 place the flour baking powder and salt in a food processor and whizz for a few seconds until combined. If the dough is dry you can add another tablespoon of yogurt if it s too tacky add more flour a tablespoon at a time.
Flatten each portion into a rectangular shape like a classic naan bread. Add the ghee or oil butter and salt and mix well. Add some extra water or flour as required.
