Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts Bacon Onion
You can do this right on the baking sheet too if you re lazy like me.
Oven roasted brussel sprouts bacon onion. Roasted brussels sprouts cook at 425 f 220 c for 25 30 minutes to make them super crispy. Place in center rack of oven. Wash and dry the brussels sprouts trim off the bottom stem and slice in half.
Spread out on a baking tray and cook in the oven for approximately 25 30 minutes turning them halfway through cooking. Season with olive oil salt pepper garlic powder and red pepper flakes. Roast brussels sprouts for about 20 minutes giving the baking sheet a good shake once or twice to encourage even browning.
Olive oil in a skillet on medium high heat. Toss the brussels sprouts bacon and onions together. Transfer to a medium bowl.
While brussels sprouts are baking slice red onion into thick cuts. Spread evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Trim the brussel sprouts and cut in half lengthwise.
Roast stirring once until browned and tender about 12 minutes. Spread brussel sprouts in an even layer inside a baking pan and sprinkle the diced bacon all over. Toss brussels sprouts with 2 teaspoons oil and salt.
Mix brussels sprouts bacon onion olive oil garlic powder cayenne and salt together in a large bowl. Preheat the oven to 400f. They are done when the outer leaves are well browned and a paring knife can be inserted through the middle of a sprout without much resistance.
