Fresh Spinach Quiche Recipe
Layer spinach cheese and onion in pie shell making several layers of each.
Fresh spinach quiche recipe. Bake on center rack until fully cooked and lightly golden 10 to 15 minutes. Mix until well combined then stir in the cooled onion mixture. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Sautee in a pan over medium heat for about three minutes or until spinach is wilted. In a medium skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add salt and pepper to taste and then stir in cheeses.
Pour in egg mixture. Then uncover and cook and additional 10 minutes. To bake cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees.
Set aside to cool slightly. Season with salt and pepper. Squeeze as much water out as possible i put it in a colander and press it with a spatula.
Into cooked pie crust layer shallots prosciutto spinach and cheese. Carefully it will spill easily place quiche in oven and bake for 35 minutes or until texture is jiggly but solid. Stir in spinach mushrooms feta and 1 2 cup cheddar cheese.
If you want to freeze it just freeze it on a cookie sheet as flat as possible. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Add in the spinach and mix for another 2 3 minutes or until the spinach has wilted.
