Recipe Quiche Red Pepper
It uses two peppers one green and one red.
Recipe quiche red pepper. Let cook on low for 10 to 15 minutes until caramelized. 1 2 teaspoon salt a good grinding of black pepper. This recipe makes two quiches one to have now and one to freeze for another day.
1 cup jarred roasted red peppers capsicums drained well and chopped i used 2 whole peppers 4 eggs. 2 red peppers trimmed and thinly sliced 2 courgettes trimmed and thinly sliced 2 cloves garlic peeled and finely chopped 2 tbsp olive oil. Cook the onion for 5 minutes.
Then add the roasted red peppers oregano and basil. 1 cup heavy double cream and 1 cup milk about 125ml 4 fl oz of each. Top with cheese and parsley.
Set aside to cool. Slowly pour the mixture into the pie crust making sure not to overfill the crust. Cook stirring until tender about 5 minutes and add a generous pinch of salt the garlic peppers and thyme.
In the bottom of the pie shell gently place your diced roasted red pepper. Prepare onions and roasted red peppers slice onions thinly and saute in one tablespoon oil. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan over low heat.
Layer the diced spinach on top of the red pepper. 1 cup chopped feta cheese 150 to 200 grams 5 to 7 ounces. Beat the eggs in a bowl.
