Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts With Balsamic Reduction
Cook until tender and golden brown.
Oven roasted brussel sprouts with balsamic reduction. Place the vinegar in a very small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Chop off base of brusssel sprouts cut in half coat with evoo sea salt pepper balsamic vinegar roast at 375 for 20 30 minutes i used my toaster oven easy peasy. Drizzle them with the balsamic as soon as they are taken out of the oven.
While the sprouts are roasting in a large bowl combine together the balsamic reduction mustard and garlic powder. In the meantime heat balsamic vinegar in a small sauce pot. Place the brussels sprouts in a single layer on a non stick or lined baking sheet.
While the sprouts are roasting add the balsamic vinegar and brown sugar or honey to a small sauce pan and heat over medium heat until boiling. Roast in the oven for 20 25 minutes. Roast the brussels sprouts for about 20 22 minutes tossing halfway through.
Once brussels sprouts are cooked through add them to the bowl and toss to coat. Toss brussels sprouts with olive oil salt and pepper. Spread into an even layer and roast for 10 12 minutes or until sprouts are golden brown and tender.
Roasted brussels sprouts cook at 425 f 220 c for 25 30 minutes to make them super crispy. They are done when they start to caramelize. Place on the top oven rack and roast for 16 20 minutes or until nicely browned.
While the brussels sprouts are roasting prepare the balsamic vinegar reduction. Reduce heat to a simmer until reduced to about half and it coats a spoon. Drizzle with balsamic reduction or toss with balsamic vinegar then serve immediately.
