Recipe Pecan Pie Bread Pudding
Make the pecan pie bread pudding in a large bowl whisk together the milk heavy cream sugar eggs and corn syrup until fully combined.
Recipe pecan pie bread pudding. Cover with the rest of the pecan mixture. Cut the bread into cubes and add them to the milk mixture. Pour milk mixture over bread and gently stir.
Pop in the oven and bake for 60 minutes. In a large bowl whisk together the eggs corn syrup brown sugar granulated sugar maple or vanilla extract cinnamon and the salt. Center will move slightly but set when cool.
Butter brown sugar and pecans. Ready for the oven. Use a rubber spatula to push and prod the bread pieces around in the dish until all are coated in the syrupy mixture.
Add the bread pieces and stir to coat well. Stir in the pecans. Turn stove eye off and let sit to keep warm until bread pudding is finished.
Mix well and simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. The pecan pie ingredients light corn syrup brown sugar and pecans will also get added right in. Bake at 350 degrees f 45 to 55 minutes.
What i love about this bread pudding is that you can actually start preparing it 2 days ahead of time. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until the top is slightly brown. With a fork mix the butter brown sugar and pecans until crumbly and like wet sand.
