Recipe Quinoa With Mushrooms
Cook and stir the mushrooms onion and garlic in the hot oil until browned about 5 minutes.
Recipe quinoa with mushrooms. Serve immediately garnished with parmesan if desired. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add quinoa and cook until heated through another 1 2 minutes.
Stir in cremini mushrooms cooking and stirring until mushrooms are browned 8 to 10 minutes. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Heat the oil in a saucepan.
Add mushrooms shallot and garlic and sauté until mushrooms have softened and are starting to brown about 3 5 minutes. Saute for 2 3 minutes until the mushrooms have softened. Toss until the mushrooms are evenly coated in oil.
Cook shallot in the hot oil until translucent about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Step 2 melt the butter in a pot over medium high heat.
Add the quinoa to the melted butter and let it brown about 3 minutes. Season from salt and pepper then add the quinoa and water. Add mushrooms garlic and thyme and cook stirring occasionally until tender about 3 4 minutes.
Stir in quinoa until well combined. Once hot add the garlic and mushrooms. Drizzle the olive oil over them and sprinkle the salt on top.
