Recipe Noodles And Cabbage
Combine cream and flour.
Recipe noodles and cabbage. Gradually add to vegetables. Add salt and pepper and optional sour cream. Add cabbage and sauté around 5 minutes or until tender.
In the meantime cook the no yolks broad noodles according to the package then drain well. Add 1 cup sliced button cremini or other mushrooms to the skillet with the cabbage and onion and cook until they are all golden brown and tender. Before serving add 1 cup cooked crumbled or diced bacon to the cabbage onion and noodles mixture.
Cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Chop the bacon add it to the skillet and cook until the cabbage is tender about 10 minutes. Place cooked noodles and cabbage mixture in a large roasting pan and stir gently to combine.
Pour into serving dish and sprinkle with bacon. Stir in the cabbage and cook and stir until wilted about 5 minutes. In a dutch oven saute the cabbage onion salt and pepper in butter until crisp tender about 10 minutes.
Cook stirring occasionally until the onions begin to soften and. When the pan is hot add a film of oil along with the onions and a pinch of salt. When noodles are done drain and set aside.
Add the remaining 1 2 teaspoon of salt and cook until the cabbage turns an amber color and starts to caramelize a bit. Melt butter and olive oil in pan over med high heat. Saute onions till golden brown 5 10 minutes.
