Recipe Potato Cauliflower Soup
Add shallots and celery.
Recipe potato cauliflower soup. Cover and cook until tender about 30 minutes. Roast the cauliflower until the edges are browned 15 to 20 minutes. In a large saucepan heat olive oil and fry onions until soft about 5 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and do not drain off the liquid. Bring to a simmer and cook until cauliflower is tender about 10 minutes. Stir cauliflower chicken broth water and potatoes together in a large pot.
Gently add potatoes cauliflower and rosemary. In a soup pot heat the oil and sauté the onions dill and thyme until tender. Bring to a boil cover and lower the heat.
Add the sweet potatoes and the large cauliflower chunks along with the stock 3 large pinches of sea salt and the bay leaf. Cover pot and simmer until potatoes and cauliflower are soft 30 to 40 minutes. Toss cauliflower with 1 tablespoon oil in a large bowl sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of the spice mixture and toss again.
Add carrots and simmer 10 more minutes. Add cauliflower dill lemon juice mustard and cumin and simmer until the vegetables are soft about 20 minutes. Stir in cauliflower potato broth salt and pepper.
Reduce to a strong simmer and cook stirring occasionally until the potatoes are very soft about 15 to 20 minutes. Add sea salt and pepper. Stir in potatoes cauliflower and broth.
