Recipe Sweet Potato Wedges
Mix chili powder cumin paprika garlic powder onion powder sea salt cornstarch and cayenne pepper together in a small bowl.
Recipe sweet potato wedges. Preheat oven to 200 c fan 190 c. Thoroughly wash sweet potatoes. Space each wedge at least an inch apart for better heat circulation.
Step 3 cut potatoes in half lengthwise then cut each half into 3 wedges. Arrange the sweet potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Scrub the sweet potatoes nicely and cut them into wedges.
Place in a large bowl. Place in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Preheat the oven to 200c 400f gas 6.
Place seasoned sweet potato wedges onto baking sheet cut side down. Cook for 3 minutes then drain. Toss the wedges with the oil and thyme then season well with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Arrange the wedges on a baking tray in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with oil mixture. 2 when the wedges have cooled a little put them in a large bowl.
Bake for 30 minutes then turn on the broiler and bake for another 3 5 minutes or until they re well browned and crispy. Spoon into a large bowl and stir in the lemon zest and juice and the oil. Arrange skin side down on 2 baking trays and bake for 30 40 mins until soft inside and crisp on the outside.
