Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts And Red Peppers
Adjust oven rack to upper middle position and heat oven to 500 degrees.
Oven roasted brussel sprouts and red peppers. You could also add some red pepper flakes for color and spice and some grated lemon zest for more intense lemon flavor. Transfer sprouts to rimmed baking sheet and arrange so cut sides face down. Score an x in the bottom of the stem end.
Toss the brussels sprouts with the red pepper and garlic oil and serve. Meanwhile add the chopped kalamata olives chopped roasted red peppers and crumbled feta to a large mixing bowl. Add lemon and stir around.
Cook stirring often until tender. Finish it off with sesame seeds white or black and some red pepper flakes if you d like a spicy. Slice off about 1 8 from the stem of the brussels sprouts.
Peel off the outer leaves of the brussels sprouts. Roast cut side down on a baking sheet at 450 until caramelized. Lightly drizzle toasted sesame seed oil or teriyaki sauce over the warm sprouts.
Spread the mixture out evenly on a rimmed baking sheet and sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper. Squeeze a lemon wedge over the baked brussels sprouts. Slide the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 20 25 minutes until tender and lightly browned.
Cover sheet tightly with aluminum foil and roast for 10 minutes. Toss brussels sprouts 3 tbsp oil water tsp salt and tsp pepper in a large bowl until sprouts are coated. Bake 15 minutes until browned.
