Pecan Pie Filling Recipe
Pour mixture into an unbaked 9 pie shell.
Pecan pie filling recipe. In medium saucepan combine the butter brown sugar corn syrup and salt. In a medium bowl mix together eggs light and dark corn syrups brown sugar butter salt and finely crushed pecans. Prevent your screen from going dark while you cook.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Mix the sugar and flour together and gradually add to the eggs using low speed. Pour syrup mixture over top of pecans then arrange pecan halves on top of pie.
Whisk butter eggs corn syrup sugar vanilla and brandy in a large bowl. Cup dark corn syrup. To make pie filling.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees f. Heat oven to 375 f. Place pecan halves on top.
While the crust is baking make the filling. Spread quartered pecans over bottom of refrigerated pie crust. 1 cups half and half.
Preheat oven to 350. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees f. Place cookie sheet in oven to preheat.
