Adjust the seasoning and serve.
All recipes potato soup ham. Combine the potatoes celery onion ham and water in a stockpot. Add potatoes and carrots and continue to simmer until tender about 20 minutes. With a slotted spoon remove bacon and add to pot.
In a separate saucepan melt butter over medium low heat. Cook until the vegetables are tender about 15 minutes. Cover with water and bring to a boil over medium high heat.
Add the cheese spread and mash with a potato masher. Cook for about 3 minutes. Bring the potatoes onion celery carrot salt pepper and water to a boil in a large pot.
Add this back to the pot. Stir in the ham and 2 tablespoons rosemary. In a separate saucepan melt butter over medium low heat.
Add more water if a thinner soup is desired. Stir in the chicken bouillon salt and pepper. Cook and stir for 5 6 minutes until the vegetables soften and the onions are translucent.
Pour stock into a large pot set over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Melt butter in a stockpot over medium heat until golden brown. Add some of the liquid from the pot about a tablespoon at a time along with the flour till you have a thick paste.
