Ground Beef Quesadilla Recipe Oven
Sauté onions until soft.
Ground beef quesadilla recipe oven. Cool for 5 minutes slice into wedges with a pizza wheel and serve immediately with whatever sauces and sides you enjoy. Preheat oven to 350 f. Add ground beef and spices breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon.
Return the skillet to medium heat and add the vegetable or olive oil. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. When shimmering add ground beef chili powder chipotle powder oregano cumin garlic powder onion powder salt pepper and cayenne pepper powder if using.
Take a piece of aluminum foil that is big enough to cover a cookie sheet front and back. Cook over medium low heat for 3 4 minutes or until heated through. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and brown the beef breaking it up with a spoon until it is all browned and crumbly about 5 minutes.
Center it on a cookie sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Lightly spray the tops of the tortillas with cooking spray to help them brown a bit.
In a large skillet cook the beef over medium heat until no longer pink. In a pan i used non stick on medium heat add olive oil. Stir occasionally and sauté until the meat cooked.
Place two tortillas side by side on the foil. In a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat brown beef breaking up with a wooden spoon. Turn it into a colander to drain and carefully wipe out the skillet.
