Recipe Oatmeal Scotchies Cookies
Add oats and butterscotch morsels.
Recipe oatmeal scotchies cookies. Beat butter granulated sugar brown sugar eggs and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Add combined flour baking soda and salt. Drop the dough by tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto baking sheets.
Beat in flour baking soda salt cinnamon nutmeg and rolled oats until thoroughly mixed. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven just until the bottoms are light brown 7 to 8 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. In a medium sized bowl whisk together 3 4 cup all purpose flour 1 2 tsp baking soda 1 4 tsp of salt 1 2 tsp ground cinnamon and a pinch of ground nutmeg.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees f. Remove to wire rack. In a large bowl using a hand mixer or a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment beat the butter brown sugar and granulated sugar together on medium high speed until combined and creamy about 2 minutes.
Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Wash and thoroughly dry a 1 quart wide mouth canning jar. Stir in flour baking soda and salt.
Bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Beat in the baking powder baking soda cinnamon and flour mixing well. Cool on baking sheet or cooling rack.
