Oven roasted brussel sprouts on the stalk. Repeat the steps on all sides. Rinse off stalk and trim the tough leaves that you find in between the sprouts if there are any. If the stalk is too long cut it in half and place both halves on the sheet.
Recipe sourced from chasing the seasons. Transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 35 40 minutes or until tender turning halfway. Using a pastry brush brush the olive oil mixture on the sprouts.
Pre heat oven to 375 clean the sprouts and set aside. Preheat oven to 375 degrees f. Place the stalk of the brussel sprout on the baking sheet.
Heat oven to 375 f. Add to the oven and bake for 45 minutes until slightly soft and browned on the outside. Serve dip with roasted brussels sprouts.
In a small bowl add all of the ingredients and mix well. Scrape up some of the pan drippings especially the roasted bits of shallots and add to dip mixture. After stalk has been roasted remove from oven and set aside.
Sprinkle all sides of the stalk with the desired amount of kosher salt and pepper. Serve dip with roasted brussels sprouts. Brush with olive oil using a basting brush.
